Ganesh's Guide to Sigil

Sigil is located on the island of Auryn between the towns of Vospire and the Palace of Diocletian at the sextant co-ordinates of 435, 1226. Sigil is perfect for adventurers of all levels and abilities. Sigil is an interesting towne with many interesting things to see and do there. It has a many different shops and NPCs.

The quest master of Sigil is Lord Vendredi, most people find his quests to be a lot easier than the other quest master's quests, so it's an ideal town for questing in. It also has a high pottential for financial gain, ears from the goblins rangers and goblin mercenaries you kill in the maze of acron and on the streets can be given to the goblin slayer who will give you a small bag of gold (containing usually around 600gp).

Lord Vendredi's castle is a good place to gain experience for most levels, the difficulty of the knights ranges from crimson knights which are for people around level 20, to silver knights which are for people around level 50. You can also get to the isle of verity from sigil by handing the adventurer 25,000 gold pieces, in the isle of verity you can collect black tourmalines which are multi-class gemstones used for multiclassing at level 60, 120 and 180.

The shops in Sigil include Strecht's Meats where you can buy different types meat, Sotted Sow Bar where you can wet your whistle, Grundle's Bakery where you can get different types of baked treats, Sigil Estate Jewelers where you can obtain various precious gems and stones, Arthur's Coffee and Cakes, The Whaler's Gift where you can buy gifts for all occasions, The Wedding Shop, Aradel's Fine Antiques which sells rare and valuable antiques from all over Alyria, Island Metal Works where you can repair your weapons, armour and equipment, Warden's Weapons where you can buy weapons of all types, Forstein's Leather and Skins, The boar and Sickle, there are also many more shops in sigil which offer different products and services.

Outside sigil you can get the fire mark by defeating the phoenix, although when you consider him you might get 'you are much more experienced than a phoenix', he has an attack which does so mighty strong damage, so be careful. Sigil is one of the few towns that has a port, for ships and the merdraco. Sigil is the perfect town for leveling, for levels below 1-15 i recommend the vendors, and tabby cats for experience, for levels 15-40 i'd say the academy students, crimson knights, gnome barbarians, wandering monks, and mangy dogs, for levels 40-60 i recommend the silver knights and animated scarecrows outside the town for expience, sigil is really the best town for mages like wizards or psionics. Sigil also has some pretty fancy quest items too, including the nexus scroll for 2000 quest points, a wooden rocking horse for 9000qp and an ornate puzzle box for 7500qp.

In the dangerous alley (near south arnic avenue) there is a thieves guild where rogues and bards can practice thier thievery, be careful though because theres a trap just before the door, it will take off around 100hp so be ready to disarm it, you need to search west for the guild too.
